Active Media Products launches the Atomix PX (model U3PX2) and Atomix EC (model U3EC2) USB 3.0 SuperSpeed adapters. The former fits in any standard PCI Express x4 slot while the latter in standard laptop Express Card slot.
Both adapters are based on NEC’s host controller and offer two USB 3.0 ports. They support dual simplex signaling and are fully backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1.
The Atomix PX and Atom EC are priced at $34.95 and $39.95 respectively. They are available at Amazon.
