First it was the turn of the warmers, then came Mac OS X Lion. And then finally we had the two big show-stoppers of the night come in and do what they do best- steal the spotlight. MacBook Air 11.6-inch and MacBook Air 13.3-inch Laptops were no doubt what most came to the Mac Event for and the announcement from Apple’s top boss seems to have left everyone pretty happy and satisfied for now.
The current set of MacBook Air models is a lot cheaper than the previous set as they are set to hit the stores. This also means that if you wish to buy an older version of MacBook Air (maybe a used one), then even their prices would come down drastically; which is a sweet thing indeed.
The 11.6-inch and 13.3-inch MacBook Air models that are out today still are not great at taking on heavy loads. That indicates that if you are a heavy user then set aside another older laptop for all the dirty work while you pay for the eternal Apple ‘cool factor’ with the MacBooks!
Here are the 4 models that released today along with the price tag and what you can expect from them:
All the models will be available starting today in the stores. For those who have used a MacBook Air before and know what to expect, the current crop is set to take your previous experience and coat it in a lighter, thinner and razor-edge fashion. Yes, it still is largely about ‘style-statement’ and there are no secrets about that!
Stay tuned as we take much detailed look at both the 11.6-inch and 13.3-inch MacBook Air laptops just out…
