A few more details of the upcoming Asus Eee PC have been revealed. Different versions of the story are doing the rounds, even as the only info that is confirmed happens to be that the device that is set to arrive would sport Intel’s latest dual-core, mobile Atom N550 processor.
We hear about a 1015PEM variant of the Eee PC which will be powered by the new 1.5GHz N550 CPU. The laptop will be capable of sporting up to 2GB of DDR3 RAM.
The device is expected to arrive sporting a price tag of €349, which is equal to $440 in the North American market.
Meanwhile, we are also told that the Asus North American hub is readying a 1015PN device that would have under the hood NVIDIA’s Ion 2 .
Expected to arrive in the US market place by September this year, the laptop would also boats of a 10-inch display.
If what we hear is true, Asus would be the first to release the faster dual-core netbook onto the market with the Asus 1015PEM. Information we have managed to gather speaks of the Asus Eee PC 1015PEM which would have top of the line functionality and style.
The design would match the technology inside. Asus is expected to bring in the Eee PC 1015PEM in hues of red, black, white and pink.
