BlueAnt Q2 Bluetooth Headset

BlueAnt releases the Q2, the so-called “Smart” Bluetooth headset that is the follow-up to the Q1. The Q2 features the Wind Armour Technology that delivers industry-best wind noise reduction at up to 22 mph, BlueAnt Voice Isolation Technology for enhanced voice input and echo cancellation and dual high-performance microphones.

The headset also includes a comprehensive voice recognition command set, text to speech technology that announces the names of incoming callers, and integration with Microsoft’s Bing 411 service. The voice-controlled Q2 works with Vlingo’s SafeReader application for hearing both text and email messages on Blackberry smartphones and Android 2.0+ devices.

The BlueAnt Q2 supports Bluetooth with AD2P streaming support, Multipoint and the Simply Connect technology for easy pairing. It is priced at $129.
