Eurocom has introduced the Panther 2.0 gaming notebook and it comes jam-packed with features. Panther, which weighs less than 12lbs, sports a 17.3 inch Full HD LED backlit display having a resolution of 1920×1080 and has a full-size keyboard. It comes with NVIDIA’s SLI GeForce GTX 480M Fermi or you can go with NVIDIA’s Quadro 5000M. You can also choose ATI CrossFireX Radeon Mobility HD5870. It comes with a powerful 3.33 GHz 6-core Intel i7 980X CPU or 3.33 GHz XEON X5680 processors running at 6.4GT/sec bus speed.
The Eurocom Panther provides a whopping 3TB (using four drives) of storage capacity, which is the largest in today’s market. You may also choose between Raid 0, Raid 1, Raid 5 and Raid 10 for the ultimate transfer rates and application load times or redundancy. You can also stash up to 24GB of onboard RAM, making it the perfect mobile workstation or server laptop for customers demanding a large storage capacity and reliability for a true portable server or workstation experience.
Eurocom Panther, which supports most 64-bit operating systems available on the market, will be launched later this month. But don’t expect it to come with a low price tag as this kind of power does not come around cheap.
