Futuristic Media Chair Concept Design

Do you like the futuristic look? Well then you might like this new concept from industrial designer, Marin Emila. The media chair looks like it came right from a starship and is a complete home theater system in the chair. The arm rest has its own iPod/iPhone docking station. The head rest has speakers integrated in order to give the owner a complete surround sound experience. To complete this chair, there is also a build-in projector that can display onto any wall or screen that the chair is pointed at. This ensures that the user is always in the prime sitting spot when they watch their favorite movies and TV shows. The designer says that the seat would be crafted out of hard plastic and would even come with telescopic legs in order to adjust for the height of the user. Unfortunately there is no word if the media chair will be manufactured, but chances are it wouldn’t be something you find on sale in Wal-Mart.
