You already know that Gingerbread – Android 2.3 – is almost at your doorstep with an expected release shortly. The latest story is about Honeycomb – the much awaited Android 3.0 for the new generation tablets. Unconfirmed tip offs have said that the real Android 3.0 – pet named Honeycomb – is rapidly readying up behind the Google curtains, to be rolled out early next year – most probably by February 2011
To add another more point to that, there are devices in our list which are all set to bring this Android 3.0 Honeycomb to you. Motorola is on its way thinking up tablets that can couple the power of Nvidia Tegra 2 processor and the brand new Honeycomb OS.
They expect to roll out these Android 3.0 tablets around February and March next year. We hope we will hear more about these tablet plans straight from the horses’ mouth at CES 2011. We hope we will then have some honey sweet news too.
The new grapevine has more hidden hints than we see. If they plan such an early roll out for Hoenycomb, it means Gingerbread – the imminent Android 2.3 update – is all set for a release.
Well, we have sources hinting about a very near, possible launch date for Gingerbread, which we are not yet ready to tell you. So till we tell you the secret, have sweet Honeycomb dreams.
