Modu Android-Based T-Phone Surfaces In The Wild

Remember all that talk about a new Modu handset named TPhone that had been discussed some time ago? Well, the upcoming device is now splashed over the Net in the form of videos and pictures. Known by the name of ModuPhone currently,  the pictures we get to see reveal a chunk of a device covered in a plastic attire.  The sad part pf the whole story is that the touch screen device would lack 3G capabilities, though we were earlier told that full 3G would come along with it.

On the hardware front, we get to know nothing more than that. The lack of 3G would mean that you might have to opt for connectivity via WiFi. Further, the device would come with FM radio, a stylus, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microSD card slot. We are trying to find out how expandable this could be. Running Android 1.5, you can see more for yourself in the video we have managed to bring to you here.

Though what is displayed is a prototype, we expect to see almost the same design when it actually rolls out. There could be minor design changes et al. Let us know if you chance upon more details on the hardware department.
