Motorola Atrix 4G launch pushed forward to Feb 22nd by ATT, but Xoom Pre-Sale delayed to Feb 20th

Motorola are doing bit of a juggling act with their devices at the moment. Remember how the Motorola Atrix 4G was supposed to be on March 6 on AT&T? Now that has been pushed forward suddenly to February 22 and while that is not bad news at all (especially those who placed a pre-order for the Atrix 4G), those looking forward to the Xoom pre-sale are a left a bit disappointed.

The Xoom pre-sale on AT&T has been delayed to February 20 and that means you have about 4 days for pre-order before the actual thing comes out. Again both the dates might not really make much of a difference since in one case you are just pushing back the pre-sale and not the actual launch and in the case of Atrix 4G, you are only getting it out sooner. Nothing to be too disappointed about at all!

So, while we are on the subject of launch dates, maybe the push forward in the Atrix release date is directly linked to all the hype generated by the HTC Thunderbolt 4G launch on Verizon Wireless. That was supposed to happen on Feb 24th and this new push should give the Atrix a jump on it by 2 days. Another AT&T vs. Verizon battle on cards…
