MSI announced two new models in its Classic Series, the CX420 and the CR420, both powered by 2010 Intel Core series processors, probably Core i3/i5/i7. These 14-inch notebooks are equipped with Intel HM55 chipset, up to 4GB of RAM and 500GB hard drive. The CX420 gets ATI Radeon HD5470 with 1GB video RAM while the CR420 boasts integrated Intel graphics.

The CX420 and CR420 come with a 14-inch 1366×768 LCD display, a 1.3 Megapixel webcam, a 4-in-1 card reader, HDMI port, and built-in speakers. They support Bluetooth and WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity.

The lid and palm rest area of the CX420 and CR420 are coated with MSI’s exclusive Cross-Hatch CFP patterning. They include chicklet keyboard and seamless touchpad.
