We can never just be sure of the Nintendo 3DS handheld gaming console release date as every new speculation forces us to take a different turn. And this time around, we are inclined to believe that the 3DS will first break cover in Japan on November 11 and then the Europeans will get to lay their hands on it in the Spring of 2011.
Talk about the source, and it is a pretty reliable German newspaper dubbed the ‘Bild’ and just for the records, it has an extremely widespread circulation which makes it the highest selling Newspaper in Europe. On previous occasions, the speculated release date has been November 20 which was courtesy of a Twitter user’s update, but that update too vanished in a jiffy before effective conclusions could be made.
Again, there is another set of believers which thinks that our confusion will end on September 29 when Nintendo will host a special press event to announce the release date and the pricing of the first 3D gaming console ever to be manufactured.
It is difficult at this point in time to pick a side, but the September 29th contingent looks the safest best, given that we will not have to wait for too long to know the results.
