Nokia has started shipping its N8 smartphone. Those of you who pre-ordered the N8, which comes with the new Symbian software, will be the first to receive the device.
The Nokia N8, which is claimed by the company to have received the highest amount of consumer pre-orders in Nokia history, comes with Symbian^3 operating system on board. The phone will be coming equipped with a 12 megapixel camera, with Carl Zeiss optics and a Xenon flash, that will let you take the highest quality photos and shoot HD-quality videos.
The device will have a robust aluminum body in a range of vibrant colors and will feature a 3.5 inch AMOLED touchscreen display. The Nokia N8 will be fast and easy to use and will be providing support for multitasking. The phone will allow users to run multiple apps simultaneously and switch between them easily. The phone also features WiFi and five-band UMTS/HSPA, along with HDMI connectivity.
Nokia has announced that the market availability of the device will vary by country and by operator, and the device should be available everywhere in the coming weeks.
