Marvel has partnered with RTC23 to release “the ultimate comic fan’s TV”. C’mon, you know you’ve been waiting for a TV branded with Superhero images. The 22, 32, 42 and 55-inch LCDs/40 and 46-inch LED HDTVs feature Iron Man, Captain America, The Hulk, Wolverine, Thor and other characters on the bottom corners of the frame as well as on a themed splash screen that appears for 8 seconds when you turn on the TV.

The new range of notebooks from the house of Samsung has made it to BestBuy. The new notebooks, namely R480, R580 and R780 are the ones you can now pick up on BestBuy. Significant, in the meantime, is the fact that the R780 is being only offered on Bestbuy.com, making it an exclusive for the online store. All three notebooks will be available starting on March 7.

This Sustainable City Lights concept is the latest in eco-friendly lighting. Each lamp post uses solar and wind energy for itself, and will use LEDs only when people are in it’s presence. When people are not nearby, it conserves energy by emitting only a soft glow.
The Sustainable City Lights open and close like a flower bud to harvest energy. Any surplus energy is returned to the main grid to use for other things. This is a not only practical, but pretty stylish as well.

One of the most anticipated updates of this year has been the Android 2.1 OTA release for the Motorola Droid and sadly the users of the smartphone have done nothing more than anticipating. Here is something which will give those users inspiration to go on as we get to preview the Android 2.1 performance on the Motorola Droid courtesy of a droid-life video. We fail to understand how droid-life managed to receive an official Android 2.1 update on the Motorola Droid when the Google OS update has not yet gone public.

Sony Japan has announced the NV-U35 GPS for bike owners. This portable GPS is weather proof, so it’s perfect to put on your handlebars and take with you while hiking or bike racing or whatever you do on two wheels.
Some specs include GPS with support for 3D view, 3.5 inch QVGA scratch resistant screen, 8GB of onboard memory, and support for popular video, audio and image formats. The NV-U35 will be available in April in Japan for 37,000 Yen (or about $ 400).
