LG Display’s new Capacitive In-Cell Multi-Touch LCD panel has been given the go ahead by Microsoft with a Windows 7 Touch Logo certification. The 13.3-inch panel, that comes across a perfect fit for laptops with multi-touch functions that enable simultaneous recognition of two touch points, has in-cell touch sensor embedded in the display. Rogers Canada have officially announced that they’ll be carrying the new Samsung Galaxy Spica to their customers. Although there’s nothing official regarding a release date, we’re being told that the Spica will be available with the mobile operator, sometime in late March.

The i-tab is a 5-inch touchscreen device that displays and scrolls chords and lyrics in perfect time. It is claimed as the world’s first electronic songbook. Designed to clip on the headstock of any guitar, the i-tab provides a built-in 4GB storage space that provides enough space to carry around thousands of tabs. Weighing at just 0.14kg, the device also has a built-in speaker, a headphone port, a stylus, a USB port and a video out for connecting it to a TV. The PSP has been on a slippery slope lately, and the PSPgo’s release about a year ago certainly didn’t help much, confusing customers and making them aggravated that they couldn’t transfer their games from UMD discs.

A new FCC filing has provided more strength to talk on Microsoft’s Project Pink phone project. Significantly, this comes just as a few days after regulatory passage of the PB10ZU from Sharp. Close on the heels of the device expected to be the pebble-shaped Turtle comes the latest filing, for the PB20ZU. And, the latest FCC filing correlates with the second design.

If anyone from the Indian Subcontinent is thinking about green cars, it is Tata Motors, as the automobile manufacturer has already launched the Indica Vista EV and it is currently at the Geneva Motor Show showcasing the ‘might’ of its puny Tata Nano EV Concept. If there’s one thing I hate, it’s having my hands full carrying grocery bags after shopping. Maybe too much video-gaming has given me girlly arms, but I hate carrying bags. You can’t answer your phone either if your hands are full.
