Along with the top-of-the-line VSX-1021, Pioneer also releases the 7.1-channel VSX-921 and the 5.1-channel VSX-521 and VSX-821 audio/video receivers. All these receivers are 3D-ready and supports high-def audio formats such as Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. They come with a USB/video cable for connecting iPad/iPhone/iPod for playback and charging. DLNA 1.5 is also supported.
Pioneer’s new receivers feature the Auto Multi-Channel Acoustic Calibration (MCACC) technology “that analyzes the room’s speaker configuration and then optimizes level and equalization for each one to compensate for any room-induced acoustic inaccuracies, providing an optimal, customized audio experience in any home theater room.”
