Samsung’s Star 3 and Star 3 DUOS are two new mobile phone running the company’s own Bada OS. Both entry-level mobile phones support quad-band GSM/EDGE mobile networks, and the Star 3 DUOS has dual SIM card slots allowing two separate phone numbers in a single device.
The Star 3 and Star 3 DUOS feature a 3-inch QVGA LCD touchscreen, a 3.2 Megapixel fixed focus camera, Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity and FM radio with RDS. Both phones are pre-loaded with Opera browser, TouchWiz UI, and Samsung ChatON. Only 20MB user memory is available so there is a microSD card slot supporting up to 16GB cards.
Samsung’s Star 3 and Star 3 DUOS will be available in in Russia and then gradually rolled out in CIS, Europe, Latin America, Africa, Middle East, and Southeast Asia. The latter will also be released in Southwest Asia.
