Sanwa is one of the newest Japanese manufacturers to introduce a pico projector. Their model, the 400-PJ001 is specifically designed for laptops and personal computers. This device features 10 ANSI lumens, a 100:1 contrast ratio, and VGA (640 x 480) resolution. The more interesting part about this projector is its connection panel. The PJ001 only has a single mini USB port and comes with a cable that has dual USB connections on the one end. In order for the projector to run and display content both USB connections must be connected; one for power and one for transferring video content. Unfortunately that means that this projector can not be used with a DVD player or game system, but it would work wonderfully for traveling presenters. The PJ001 is only available in Japan and retails for 19999 yen ($219).
