With the shopping season almost over, manufacturers are not turning their attention to the 2010 CES show that will take place January 7th – 10th. Sanyo has become one of the first companies to announce that they will be attending the show and this year they will be bringing a new projector called the PLC-XU116. Sanyo is not releasing a lot of specifications at this time, but they did announce that this new projector will feature the latest in 3LCD display technology and be able to support up to a WUXGA (1920 x 1200) resolution. The connection panel is full of options, including DVI, RGB, composite, s-video, and also a USB port for flash drives. There is a Ethernet port for a LAN connection or you can use the wireless LAN feature that will come with the projector. The PLC-XU116 will be designed for businesses and will come with an array of security features. Sanyo has not released pricing information or a release date, but more information will be released at the CES show.
