Sony introduces the Cyber-shot DSC-HX7V, a new compact camera with a 10x optical zoom Sony G lens. Like the DSC-TX100V and DSC-TX10, the HX7V can take 3D still images and offers 3D Sweep Panorama capabilities. It sports a 16.2 Megapixel Exmor R CMOS image sensor and supports Full HD 1080/60i AVCHD video recording.
The Cyber-shot DSC-HX7V includes integrated GPS receiver and compass to record the location and direction of every shot taken. It features Backlight Correction HDR function, Background Defocus, Optical SteadyShot image stabilization, Smile Shutter technology, Face Detection technology, Anti-blink Function, Motion detection, as well as HDMI output and TransferJet technology.
The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX7V will be available in blue, white, black and pink and is now available for pre-order at Amazon for $299.99.
