Sony VAIO CW Series Notebook

Along with the new lightest VAIO X notebook, Sony brings also the VAIO CW series notebook that comes in five eye-catching, high-gloss colors: fiery red, poppy pink, icy white, jet black and indigo purple.

The VAIO CW is boosted by up to an Intel Core 2 Duo T9600 2.8GHz processor, up to 8GB of DDR2 RAM and up to 500GB hard drive. It gets 512MB NVIDIA GeForce GT230M or 256MB GeForce GT210M graphics. It is pre-loaded with Windows 7.

Sony VAIO CW has a 14-inch 1366×768 LCD display and a DVD burner or optional Blu-ray drive or Blu-ray burner. The notebook comes with Bluetooth and Atheros WiFi 802.11b/g/n module. There are also MOTION EYE webcam, a Memory Stick DUO card slot, a SD card slot and an ExpressCard/34 slot.

The VAIO CW offers up to 12 hours of usage using the optional extended battery. It starts at $799.99.
