T-Mobile leak indicates BlackBerry Bold 9780 Release Date in USA as November 17: Will the 9700 successor woo consumers with BlackBerry 6 OS

The BlackBerry Bold 9780 will be out on November 17, according to the latest leak from T-Mobile. The latest in what seems to be a series of leaks in the past few days, not just from T-Mobile but also from Verizon, indicates that the BlackBerry Bold 9780 will be indeed out on T-Mobile and that seems more or less official despite both RIM and T-Mobile being tight-lipped on it. While the price on contract for the 9780 is still not confirmed, the contract-free handset will set you back by good $400.

There seem to be an inordinate number of leaks in the mobile carrier front in the last week or so and while this might be totally ‘unintentional’, it could be very well a strategy that is aimed at making sure that consumers wait, and do not jump ship to other carriers. The Bold 9780 itself, is not much different from its predecessor the 9700. They more or less seem similar except in the BlackBerry 6 OS on the inside, the 512 MB RAM and the new glossy jet black appearance on the outside.

The other features of the 9780 include the 5 megapixel camera, the QWERTY keyboard and the 2.44 inch HVGA+ display (480 x 360). So while T-Mobile users will have to wait a little longer to know the contract price, it will not be long before they can get their hands on the BlackBerry Bold 9780.
