Earlier, we had reported when T-Mobile announced that the Samsung Galaxy S 4G Android smartphone will be launched on its network soon. Now, a fresh leak has revealed that Walmart will be offering the device soon, most probably by the end of the month.
The Galaxy S 4G will be available from Walmart with a price tag of $148.88 provided you sign a two-year agreement, or upgrade.
The handset will cost $248.88 if you choose a 2 year Flexpay agreement. If you want to get your hands on the device contract-free, you will have to pay $650.
Just to remind you on its specs, the Galaxy S 4G, which runs the Android 2.2 Froyo operating system, will come equipped with a 1GHz Hummingbird processor and a 4-inch Super AMOLED screen.
The device also comes with a 5 megapixel camera with 720P video recording capabilities, and a pre-installed 16GB microSD memory card.
Most importantly, the device will provide support for T-Mobile’s super fast HSPA+ network.
Other features include Bluetooth, a front-facing camera for video chat and an array of pre-installed video chat apps. A 1650 mAh battery is also included in the package.
Stay tuned for more updates on the device.
