Acer has announced the Acer Aspire Timeline AS1810TZ notebook which sports an 11.6″ screen with an HD resolution and is LED backlit. This one has a full sized keyboard and delivers up to 8 hours of battery life on a single charge. This notebook is just one of several announced by Acer, but this model is the thinnest and lightest, weighing just 3.08 pounds. Acer looks like they mean business in the cell phone market, having officially announced the Acer Liquid, Acer’s first Android-powered smartphone. This is truly something to drool over, as it will be powered by Qualcomm’s 1GHz Snapdragon processor. It will be the first Android-device to use the processor. Liquid=drool. Have you recently purchased an Acer Aspire laptop? If so, you may be interested to know that Acer has issued a product recall for certain models. Acer is planning a new tablet PC named the Aspire Time 1820P, which can be considered as the convertible tablet version of the Timeline 1810T/Aspire 1410. The 1820P has the same technical configuration as the 1810T but gets a touchscreen display.
