Verizon and Motorola has introduced the new Droid RAZR MAXX, an enhanced version of the RAZR with extended battery life. It includes all the features of the RAZR and packs a 3300mAh battery for over 21 hours of talk time and up to 15.8 days standby time on one single charge. Even with a bigger battery, the MAXX is still slim at just 8.99mm.

Nokia introduces its Oro smartphone, a luxury version of the Nokia C7. The Oro is crafted from 18 carat gold for a touch of elegance and features premium leather on it back and a home key made of sapphire crystal.
The Nokia Oro, just like the C7, features a 3.5-inch AMOLED touchscreen, a 8 Megapixel camera with dual LED flash and HD video recording, Bluetooth and WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity. The phone has 8GB internal memory and supports microSD/SDHC up to 32GB. It comes in Light and Dark versions.

Samsung officially announced its Continuum, a Galaxy S smartphone for Verizon Wireless. The Continuum is the world’s first smartphone to have a dedicated ticket display which provides users with up-to-the-minute news, sports, finance and social networking updates for maximized multitasking.

AT&T is going to release the Samsung Focus (SGH-I917) smartphone on 8 November. The Focus is a phone running the newest Microsoft Windows Phone 7 OS. The price is $199.99, with a 2-year contract after rebate of course. The phone supports tri-band UMTS/HSDPA 3G and quad-band GSM/EDGE networks.

AT&T is going to release the Samsung Focus (aka Centus/SGH-i916) smartphone running Windows Phone 7 OS. The handset is AT&T’s thinnest Windows Phone measuring just 9.9mm thick. It features a 4-inch large 480×800 Super AMOLED touchscreen and a 5 Megapixel camera with HD 720p video recording.

Finally Nokia officially unveils the E7-00 Symbian^3 smartphone. Designed for business, the E7-00 comes with sliding four-row QWERTY keyboard, just like other Eseries phones. It also offer support for Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync and IBM Lotus Notes Traveler, built-in Nokia Mobile VPN for connecting company intranet quickly and securely, business grade device lock and wipe functionality, remote device management, and other business-oriented features.

Samsung is launching in Brazil a version of Galaxy S smartphone with integrated ISDB-Tb Digital TV tuner and antenna. Like other variants, this Brazilian Galaxy S packs 1GHz Hummingbird processor, 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen, 5 Megapixel camera, 8GB internal memory and support for WiFi and Bluetooth 3.0.
