| Looks like Apple store employees will be getting at least 3 exclusive and separate applications that will help with several important tasks. One of them will allow employees to swap iPhones or iPods on the store floor, which previously could only be done at the Genius Bar. Another proprietary app will help employees in the stock room. The apps should make tasks done in all of Apple’s retail locations easier and more efficient.
The company plans to roll out all of the applications at the same time for employees, bundled with the

| Apple is certainly a company well known for innovation, and Steve Jobs is also quite fussy about patents, so it’s not surprise to see Apple file patents every now and then. The latest “Grab & Go” patent from the company certainly looks promising. Basically it demonstrates how synchronization of data over multiple devices can be simplified, especially with pre-defined data sets and categories like “family, entertainment or business”. With it, sharing files between devices will

| Word has it that Apple's recently unveiled Magic Mouse has started to ship, which means that Apple has met the goal of shipping it at the end of this month. For customers who prefer to walk into retail stores and pick one up, you're out of luck since there isn't the sight of any of these Magic Mice just yet - perhaps they're wearing a cloak of invisibility? To go along with the shipment, Apple alo rolled out a couple of software updates for Snow Leopard and Leopard users to gain full access to the Magic Mouse's

| Too bad this generosity on their part does not extend to other lines save for the MacBook Pro line, which we did mention that it will probably be refreshed pretty soon since it was skipped during the last round of updates. High end MacBook Pro configurations have dropped by up to $1,000 thereabouts according to vigilant price watchers, so those who don't mind purchasing solid working notebooks without worrying about it being the latest in the market can look forward to picking one up now.

| Nokia sent us an email this morning to announce that they have filed a lawsuit against Apple over alleged copyrights infringements on GSM, UMTS and WLAN. It probably means that Nokia is seeking royalties from Apple, as Nokia licenses its technology to a good deal of handset makers. Apple has not commented yet, but they must believe that their implementation of the above standards is different enough from Nokia's. I wonder if there is some behind-the-scenes drama...

| Apple aims to impress the masses (which isn't a very hard thing to do with a company of its pedigree) by introducing a new unibody MacBook that does resemble the glossy model of the 13" MacBook Pro of yore, retailing for $999 still. At that familiar price point, you will get a new plastic chassis, an LED backlit display, the new glass multitouch trackpad and a battery that supposedly lasts for up to 7 hours. We'd take that figure with a pinch of salt as real world conditions are normally very different from that

| Apart from the slew of Apple MacBook and iMac updates, we also bring you news of the Apple Remote device that features buttons which resemble those on the iPod shuffle, boasting circular controls, menu and play buttons in black color. As for the play button, it has also been transported from the center of the circle to just below it. The back enclosure provides easy access to the battery, making it easier to replace the device's power supply. It will take anywhere from two weeks to a month to ship this $19

| Apple today announced the new Bluetooth Magic Mouse that allows users to navigate using intuitive finger gestures instead of mechanical buttons, scroll wheels or scroll balls. The entire top surface of the Magic Mouse is a multi-touch surface that can track independent fingers. It is perfect for both left and right handed users. The Bluetooth Magic Mouse will be available at the end of October 2009 for $69 each. [MacRumors]
