Whoever thought a mega deal could be a speed breaker too? Well it seems Verizon is currently going through such a phase. Going by what we just stumbled upon, the US carrier could be switching themselves on to regret mode for having signed the iPhone deal. The reason: A new iPhone could impact quarterly earnings whenever it arrives!
In the short term, Verizon would have to undergo such a suffering. We all know a new iPhone version is on its way, and Verizon will now have to switch their unlimited mobile data plans with usage-based pricing around the middle of summer.

The time at the top for the iPad has come to an end; the original one that is. With its successor now in the open, Apple has decided to put the iPad on sale and it is now available for $399. That is a $100 drop in the price tag after the launch of iPad 2. This was pretty much expected as Apple would be trying hard to sell the remaining iPad stock now before everyone wants only the iPad 2.
This also means a refurbished iPad can now be yours for $349. All this will only attract more people to buy the iPad and with the new reduced price it looks like a very decent buy for those

The iPad 2 is now officially out, and by the looks of it Apple had the reasons to put on a really neat show; their next-generation tablet is more than just an updated device.
Apple’s iPad 2 runs on a new 1GHz dual core A5 processor that makes it much more powerful in terms of graphics and task processing, and now features both front and rear cameras. Sports a completely new design that is not only lighter (from 1.5lbs to 1.3lbs) but is also absurdly thin — we’re speaking of 33% thiner than the old one, which at 8.8mm is even thinner than the 9.4mm thick iPhone 4.

There is one major difference between the launch of iPad and iPad 2- the pressure of expectations. That might not sound like too much, but ask any international sports star or even a Hollywood celebrity under the spotlight and they will tell you the difference it can make. Getting to be “number one” in what you do is one thing, but staying on that pedestal is a whole different story. In a matter of hours we will find out if Apple has what it takes to stay on top.
It might sound strange to compare sports with the Tablet market, but launching a high-profile gadget while the

We are really not that sure if Steve Jobs is too bothered about being called ‘Sir Steve Jobs’. In fact, maybe he has better titles going around the Apple offices! But it seems a bit stupid when the prime minister of a country shoots down the idea of conferring an honor because the guy refused to speak at one of his party meetings in the past. Of course neither Apple nor Brown commented on the matter, but with the way things go in politics, this seems par for the course.
According to The Telegraph, an unnamed UK Labour party MP has given out this news bit. Knowing the man

Bernstein Research analyst Toni Sacconaghi got chatting with Apple COO Tim Cook and while the interview revolved largely under the general strategy that Apple has in place and the future direction of its products, the idea of a cheaper iPhone surfaced once again. Now, people seem to assume that a cheaper iPhone is naturally one that is smaller, but that might not be the case.
It could be something that comes with fewer features than its more expensive cousin and yet gives a vast majority that cannot currently afford one, to sport an Apple iPhone. Here is exactly what Tim Cook
