Those of you who’ve been theorizing like crazy about the upcoming release of Apple’s iPhone 4 may finally put their minds to rest about something – the delay of the white version of the device. It’s been confirmed by Apple that the white IPhone 4 won’t be released on time, and will be delayed until some time in the second half of July.

Apple has sent emails to its customers who pre-ordered the iPhone 4 advising them that the handset would be delivered to them on June 23rd, a whole day before the originally scheduled delivery date of June 24.

The email states that customers should ignore the later date that might be displayed on the current tracking update for the delivery on FedEx as well the Apple site. Instead, they can check the tracking update of the delivery on the FedEx site on the morning of June 23 to confirm that their package arrives on the same day.
