We knew this was coming when we talked about the Apple Subscription Policy. For those who have not really gone through what it means, all publishers need to provide in-app subscription options that are at the same price as an outside app subscription. But if iOS users subscribe to the content in-app, then Apple keeps 30% of the revenue, you get 70%. Outside the app means you keep 100%.
But since users will barely do that and you cannot provide in-app links for subscription outside, most publishers already established on iOS are pretty much… Let’s say ‘going to lose

The recent announcement of a strategic partnership between Nokia and Microsoft was initially speculated upon following rumours of Nokia’s CEO and former Redmond man Stephen Elop’s decision to drop Symbian and make a decision about MeeGo – with both Microsoft and Android rumoured to be in with a shout of joining forces.
However recent comments from Google personnel indicated that this was more of a case of Nokia admiring Microsoft more than Android.
As with all of these things, of course, there is much more to it. While the full details will probably never be known, it now

Rumors, particularly in the gadget world, are very serendipitous. We have got a new one in that category, from a Taiwanese website, which has earlier sourced many important Apple hardware leaks. It now tells us Apple is mulling over rolling out an iPhone device with a physical keyboard.
According to the rumor, Apple has designed three prototypes which may contribute to the evolution of the ‘iPhone 5’.
One of the three prototypes has a physical keyboard with a sliding cover.
Well, it is difficult to believe that Apple will go back to devices with physical keyboards unless

When you look at that potential price tag of $200, remember that it is the possible price of the iPhone Nano without any contracts attached. That no doubt already swings the pendulum in a huge way compared to many Android handsets that come at the same cost after a two-year contract and huge discount.
Of course, Apple in no way has announced that they are planning an iPhone Nano, but, those close to them indicate that it is a possibility after Android devices have captured substantial market share with their relative low price compared to the iPhone 4. This does seem to make

The strong competition from rapidly popularizing Apple smartphone devices and Android devices has made considerable dent in the market share of Nokia in recent times.
Despite its attempts like rolling out Windows Phone 7 Os for smartphone devices, Microsoft still is in a pathetic condition as far as the market performance is concerned. This has made both the two

The update is now available and comes with a Personal Hotspot WiFi tethering plan, which will give your phone support of up to five WiFi devices. Apple is making the update available for an extra $20 a month for 2GB of tethered data. The company has said that each additional gigabyte used

You may already be aware of the LG Optimus Pad, a slate device that is set to be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress shortly. You might also recognise that LG have used the “Optimus” name in a few different places, such as Windows Phone 7 handsets, Android phones and now this international release of the G-Slate.
Once upon a time there was only one place you would find the world “optimus” – on the front of a Transformers toy box – so it makes sense that LG should have broke the bank on this pretty awesome CGI trailer in which the Android powered device makes some
