Though not a big player in networking devices market, Asus brings two new innovative HomePlug Powerline adapters, the PL-X51P and PL-X52P with 4 Gigabit LAN ports, the first in the market. With four LAN ports like conventional routers, you can connect multiple devices to the adapters. As you may already know, the Powerline adapters plug to electrical outlets at home and office and make use of existing power wires for home networking, meaning you can create a high-speed network without running cables throughout your home.

Asus is going to release in Germany and Austria its Transformer Pad TF300TL, the LTE version of the TF300. As you may know, the Transformer Pad is an Android tablet that can be turned into a netbook with the optional keyboard docking station. The LTE 4G edition is powered by the same NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core 1.2GHz processor and integrated 12-core GeForce graphics chip. It gets 1GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage.

Asus expands its Superior Mobility Ultrabook line with the new S-series that managed to pack an optical drive in a 21mm form factor. The sleek S-series is available in 14-inch S46 and 15.6-inch S56 models. They are powered by Intel’s Ivy Bridge 3rd gen Core procesor up to Core i7-3517U processor, up to 8GB of RAM and integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000 or optional NVIDIA GeForce GT 635M with 2GB DDR3 VRAM. Asus officially announced in Taiwan its new PadFone 2 system that includes a quad-core LTE smartphone and a tablet. As the follow-up to the original PadFone, the phone is not more powerful while the tablet has been completely redesigned to has a slimmer form factor. The PadFone 2 is powered by Qualcomm’s SnapDragon S4 quad-core 1.5GHz processor and 2GB of RAM, and runs Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Along with the all-new Nexus 4 smartphone and Nexus 10 tablet, Google also refreshed the Nexus 7 with the new 32GB model and the HSPA+ cellular model. The original 8GB model is discontinued and 16GB version will take the $199 place. The new 32GB is priced at $249. The $299 HSPA+ model will has 32GB internal storage.

The new SDRW-08D3S-U is a 8x external DVD burner that connects to different devices via USB 2.0. The drive features one-press AV Function switching that automatically syncs it with Windows PC, Mac, smart TVs and tablets, turning it into their external optical media drive for setup-free multimedia playback.

Asus announced the ET2220 series of all-in-one PC with optional 10-point multitouch display optimized for Windows 8 experience. The 21.5-inch AIO has a unique space-saving photo-frame inspired design and can be tilted from 16° to 45° for an ergonomic viewing position. Its silver stand can also be used as a carrying handle.

Asus announced its new USB 3.0 HZ-1 docking station powered by DisplayLink’s SuperSpeed DL-3900 chip that integrates graphics, Gigabit Ethernet and audio. As the market of tablet grows, netbook seems dying but Asus thinks the other way introducing the new Eee PC 1225B netbook. Powered by AMD’s Fusion E450 or C60 processor, the 1225B gets AMD Radeon HD 6320 or AMD Radeon HD 6290 for graphics and up to 4GB of memory.
