| Barco is a global leader in digital cinema technology. Today, the company announced that they have been selected to install DP-2000 projectors for Cinema West in their new Palladio 16 Cinemas site. The projectors will all be equipped with 3D capabilities in order to play RealD 3D movies. | Barco is a global leader in digital cinema technology. Today, the company announced that they were invited to bring their digital projector to the Southern California School for Cinematic Arts. The projector will be used on the schools largest screening room, which can seat 200 people. Barco brought with them their DP-3000 projector, which is capable of displaying a 2K HD (2048 x 1080) resolution, a 2000:1 contrast ratio, and 30000 ANSI lumens. The company was selected for the room by the SCA’s Tomlinson Holman, the Professor of Cinematic Arts at the school.
