Samsung is launching its 2011 line of Blu-ray players and the company has just announced the pricing of these new players. The 2011 models include the slimmest BD-D7500, the ultra compact BD-D7000, the WiFi-enabled BD-D6700 and BD-D6500 as well as BD-D5700, BD-D5500, and BD-D5300.

Plextor releases a new internal 12x Blu-ray disc burner, the PX-LB950SA with 3D Blu-ray support. The writer can burn BD-R single layer at 12x, writing 25GB data is just 12 minutes.
