At a time when the tablet market is totally inclined to the happenings on at the Apple iPad 2 counters, rival companies have been going the extra mile to make their stuff visible. Yesterday, we saw Samsung throwing in some aggression into its marketing by pushing out a fresh advert for their Samsung Galaxy Tab. We also saw Motorola’s Xoom usher in a fresh Adobe Flash update.
The latest from the tablet front is that Asus has pushed their upcoming Eee Pad through the FCC gates, and has successfully got it cleared along with WiFi and Bluetooth functionalities.

Specs and features of Samsung’s upcoming Android-based CDMA phone, codenamed SCH-i100 Gem, have been revealed. Though it is not yet confirmed as to which carrier it would be on in the US, the device has earlier been spotted with Verizon branding. The Gem was recently seen on the Samsung’s website, complete with a list of specifications and functions.
The Gem will feature a 3.2 inch touchscreen with WQVGA resolution and scratch protection and anti-reflective properties. Powered by an 800 MHz processor, this could be seen as the fastest in its category.

In 2008 Sony announced their official Bluetooth Headset for the Playstation 3 and now we have another one coming down the pipeline this month.
Just announced today, their new Bluetooth Headset(shown above) is going to be significantly better than the previous one. According to the Playstation Blog:
New features include a redesign, making it sleeker, high-gloss and more compact – 30% smaller than the original model. In addition, the Bluetooth Headset now has built-in noise cancellation for filtering out ambient noise when used with the PS3 system as well as your mobile phone.

The Asus Eee Top ET2400XVT all-in-one is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Since this new model, which has been announced as part of the seven model Eee Top refresh back in August, is highly specified, it comes with a higher price tag.
The 23.6-inch Asus Eee Top ET2400XVT all-in-one comes equipped with an Intel Core i7-740QM clocked at 1.73Ghz, 8GB of DDR3 RAM and NVIDIA’s NV GTX 460M 3D with 1.5GB of dedicated VRAM. Best Buy has confirmed that it will be providing customers with four exclusive handsets that will not be found at any other retail store. The devices that are arriving at its stores later this month include the HTC Surround, the Dell Streak, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 and the Samsung Fascinate.

Last month, Verizon Wireless had announced that the BlackBerry Curve 9330 would be available for purchase in the coming weeks. The device is now available in the Verizon online store in fuchsia color.
The Curve 9330, which ships with BlackBerry 5.0 operating system (but will soon be getting OS 6), is having a price tag of $364.99 for full retail or $29.99 after discounts with a 2-year contract.
