Buffalo launches two new external hard drives, the HD-AV500U2/SC and HD-CL500U2/SC for use with PS3 torne DTV adapter. These PlayStation Official Licensed Products offer 500GB capacities and are to be used with te torne for TV program recording.

The HD-AV500U2/SC is based on Buffalo’s HD-AV500U2. It will be priced at 14,800 Yen. The less stylish HD-CL500U2/SC costs 11,800 Yen. They will be available in March.

The Buffalo HD-AV500U2/SC and HD-CL500U2/SC are both compatible not only with PS3 but also with the upcoming PlayStation 3 TV Tuner and “Torne” DTV DVR adapter. Buffalo launches the Dualie dock station that includes a portable hard drive and a universal dock for iPod and iPhone. The Dualie comes with a 500GB portable hard drive that can still be used while you charge and sync your iPhone or iPod.
The Buffalo Dualie offers both USB 2.0 and FireWire 800 interface and includes a two-port USB hub. It works with iPhone, iPhone 3G/3GS, iPod touch 2G and iPod nano 4G. The price is $249.95.

Dualie is a silly name, but fitting for this product. Buffalo has released the Buffalo Dualie. The Dualie is a 500GB portable hard drive, and a dock for your iPhone or iPod, allowing you to save some space on your desk, by docking both products together in one base.
Two in one. Dualie. Get it? Those folks at Buffalo sure are clever. It’s a much better name than doubly or SinglyX2. The device features 2 additional USB ports, and lets you sync your device with your computer and access the hard drive at the same time.

Buffalo launches at the CES 2010 its TeraStation III WSS network attached storage solution. This new TeraStation is based on x86 platform and uses Windows Storage Server 2003 R2 Express Edition. It features four quick-swap SATA hard drives and redundant RAID technology and comes with native Active Directory support.
The TeraStation III WSS is available in 2TB (WS-Q2.0TL/R5) and 4TB (WS-Q4.0TL/R5), which are priced at $1599 and $1999 respectively.

Buffalo introduces the new HD-AVU2 series USB external hard drive that comes in 500GB, 1TB, 1.5TB and 2TB capacities.The HD-AVU2 features a glossy black finish and LED lights to indicate space available.
Also available is the HD-AVU2/A series that is designed to be used with Toshiba’s Regza LCD HDTV for video recording.
Buffalo HD-AVU2 is available now while the HD-AVU2/A will be released in February 2010.
