Fujifilm has officially announced that the world’s first compact digital camera able to deliver 3D images and movies will shortly be going on sale in the UK this coming September.
The Fujifilm FinePix Real 3D W1 features two Fujinon lenses – each with its own 10MP CCD sensor – that are securely mounted side by side inside a robust aluminium die-cast frame that protects them from movement, vibration and impact.
When using the camera in 3D mode each of these sensors records its own image, which are then fed into the camera’s ‘Real Photo Processor

Fujifilm may not be ready to officially confirm details of its 3D compact camera, but this hasn’t stopped information from leaking on the web.
The Fujifilm FinePix Real3D camera is something of a world’s first – a compact camera with the capability to shoot 3D images, ready for ogling with a stereoscopic overlay.
No glasses will apparently be needed to view the 3D images with Time.com, who broke the news about the camera, noting: "Two viewing options [are available]. One is a 3D digital picture frame – an eight-inch (20 cm) LCD screen that directs the dual

Sony has updated its compact camera Cyber-shot range with the W180.

Megapixel-size for the W180 has been set at a not-too-shabby 10.1MP. This is backed by an ISO of up to 3200 and an optical zoom range of 3x.
There’s also a 17x Smart Zoom but as this is digital, it probably won’t be that smart – digital zooming is renowned for adding blockiness and pixelation to your images.

Polaroid is set to launch what is perhaps the ideal festival and party gadget for the summer – the Polaroid Two – a nifty little digital camera that can print out your pictures instantly.
Firebox is one of the first UK retailers to get hold of Polaroid Two stock, just in time for the summer hols, Glastonbury and all those late night hazy weekend barbeques coming up over the next three or four months. We hope!
Low-spec, high-fun
The camera itself is nothing much to write home about, other than the fact that it has an in-built printer.
It is a basic

This rumor is brought to you by Xitek, a Chinese photography forum. It shows a Pen-style interchangeable lens camera from Panasonic, apparently called the GF-1.
The pictures come from a PDF detailing the camera, and are either a rather good fake or the real deal. There’s nothing odd in the specs, for example, and the camera follows Panasonic’s Lumix design style perfectly. Standout differences between this and Olympus micro four thirds camera are a lack of in-body stabilization and the addition of a pop-up flash (it slides out whole from the type, just like the
