ProMaster introduces its new MultiReader 3.0, a multi-in-one card reader using the SuperSpeed USB 3.0 interface, providing transfer rates up to 10x faster than USB 2.0 connection. The reader supports common memory cards, including CompactFlash (CF) Type 1/2, SD/SDHC, microSD/SDHC, miniSD, MS, MS PRO, MS Duo, MS PRO Duo and xD PictureCard.
The MultiReader 3.0 is backwards compatible with USB 2.0. It has LED power and activity indicator. The readers works with Windows, Mac OS 9.0 or later and Linux 2.4.x. It is priced at $49.95.

Verbatim announced three new memory card readers, including two Universal Card Readers and a Pocket Card Reader. With a sleek and modern design, the Universal Card Readers are available in USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 versions. The Pocket Card Reader uses USB 2.0 interface.
These card readers support SD/SDHC, mini SD, microSD, Memory Stick, MS PRO, MS Duo, MS PRO Duo, MS PRO-HG Duo, MS Micro (M2), MMC. The Universal Card Readers add support for CompactFlash Type I/II and xD cards.

Alongside the new SD and SDHC memory cards, Sony introduces the MRW-F3 a USB card reader for both Memory Stick and SD memory cards. The reader supports Memory Stick, MS PRO, MS PRO-HG and SD, SDHC, SDXC, MMC as well as Memory Stick Micro, microSD/SDHC card via adapter.
The Sony MRW-F3 can be used with Sony’s PlayStation 3 and BD recorders. It will be released on 10 November for 1400 Yen.
