Victorinox Swiss Army has introduced at the CES 2011 its new line of USB flash memory devices, inclduing the Slim, Slim Duo and the Secure SSD. The Slim and Slim Duo both combine portable USB drive with Victorinox’s standard pocket knife function such as blades, nail files, and scissors and are flight friendly. The Slim has 64GB capacity while the Slim Duo gets 128GB.

Motorola’s Xoom tablet, as you know, has succeeded big time in charming the CES 2011. Close on the heels of the announcement of the device, the Motorola tablet has now been made available on pre-order at Handtec.
Handtec has listed the Motorola Xoom for £659.99 (or £549.99 minus VAT). The pricing factor speaks a lot, considering that the device has been attached with a tag akin to the original price of the Samsung Galaxy Tab. That could well mean that the Xoom fits well in the price slot created by the Verizon Galaxy Tab.

Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FH27
Panasonic adds two new FH models, the LUMIX DMC-FH27 and DMC-FH25, to its 2010 LUMIX lineup. Both cameras sport 16.1 Megapixel sensor and a 28mm wide angle LEICA DC lens with 8x optical zoom. They have a new design with an easy-to-hold grip and slim and stylish profile. The FH27 comes with a 3-inch Smart Touch Screen for full touch-control operation while the FH25 has a 2.7-inch Intelligent LCD without touch control.

Sony introduced at the CES 2011 the Handycam HDR-TD10, the world’s first Double Full HD 3D consumer camcorder. The HDR-TD10 features an integrated dual lens system, which includes two of each key component – double Sony G Lenses, double Exmor R back-illuminated CMOS image sensors, and double BIONZ image processors to record 1920×1080 Full HD 60p/24p video. The lenses offer 10x optical zoom in 3D mode.

Asus unveiled at the CES 2011 its Eee Pad MeMO, a 7-inch tablet device that will ship with Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS, like the Motorola XOOM. Powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm SnapDragon 8260 dual core processor, the MeMO comes with a 7-inch 1024×600 capacitive touchscreen display. It is also equipped with a 5 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 1.2 Megapixel front camera. The tablet supports 1080p Full HD video playback.

Microsoft’s venture into motion control has proven to be very profitable. The hands free motion tracking camera has sold 8 million units in 60 days after it’s November 2010 launch says Microsoft Boss, Steve Ballmer.
Microsoft had initially said they wanted to sell 5 million units by the 2010′s which was surpassed and nearly doubled. It seems that the Kinect was highly anticipated after all.

CES 2011 has MSI presence in a major way, but somehow a couple of days earlier when the company held their press conference at the Las Vega venue we thought something was missing.
