After spending some time keeping an eye on how enterprise users are adopting tablets into daily computing, Dell are set to announce a new tablet device, initially expected to be targeted at business users.
So-called “generation Y” employees are said to be behind the change – savvy, mobile users who are more accepting of remote working practices and taking advantage of cloud computing rather than being tied to a single office-based workstation.
These younger employees apparently form an ever-increasing segment of the workforce across Europe and North America, and are the

Been to Best Buy of late? If you haven’t checked out what’s on the menu this morning, let’s tell you, it’s better late than never. The retailer is offering the Dell Streak for $99.99 along with a 2-year service contract from AT&T. Does that excite you?
If you are one of those enthusiasts who are looking at a Dell Streak with Froyo, then you shouldn’t be reading any further. Best Buy is offering the device without Android 2.2 Froyo as the update isn’t available until January 2011.
Optimists can still go for it as January 2011 is just less than a month away.

We have great news for those of you who are planning to get the Dell Streak handset. The device is now available at Best Buy with a price tag of $99.99.
When Best Buy started selling the device a few weeks ago, the $249.99 price tag seemed to be awesome. It was a pretty nice deal since it provided a $50 savings off the regular subsidized price.
Now, the earlier deal almost appears to be highway robbery. The retailer is now offering the 16GB Streak in both black and white for just $99.99 with a new two-year contract with AT&T.
The black version of the Dell Streak can be

Dell Streak had already joined the line of Android tablet devices that bagged their essential Android 2.2 Froyo update. But the update was available for the unlocked version only, until now. The latest is that the update is ready for those users who got their Streak for a two-year contract on AT&T.
Though, we have seen some Streak devices on AT&T getting the update applied within this time, they are just a few. AT&T has not yet started rolling out the update to all the Dell Streak devices on their network. So may be your turn is yet to come.
Well, just to remind

I am always confused about the categorization of the Dell Streak as I never understand whether to dub this product as a tablet or a smartphone so the safer way of doing it is to call it a tablet phone. Anyway, the matter of fact is that Best Buy is beefing up its Dell Streak offer for the holidays by “not lowering the price’ but offering the Streak in a whitish tinge.
I must openly acknowledge that the whitish Dell Streak looks way better than the standard black or red versions and BestBuy might enjoy some good holiday profit courtesy of these white 5-inch Streak sales. As

The early occupants of the Dell Streak mini tablets may have been over the moon for possessing the device early but AT&T, as always, have played the spoiled sport in this case as well. If some highly rated forums are to be trusted, the users of the Dell Streak will not be able to take advantage of the AT&T 3G bands.
In the most simplest of terms, this implies that the users will not be able to use any AT&T voice and data plans leaving their Streaks’ functional only on WiFi.
The precise reason for this move is still a mystery (although we know AT&T for

While Dell still haven’t announced the launch date of their upcoming Streak in the United States, they at least gave us some important information related to the device – namely its price. Those in Europe may have been enjoying the Streak for quite a while now, but Americans just got to use the handset as it’s been made available on their market recently. So, if you live in the US and have been planning to get one of the new Streaks, you may want to read this to get an idea of what to expect from the device.
One of the best features about the Streak is its large screen, spanning over 5 inches. It does seem a bit bulky for holding in your pocket though, but that shouldn’t pose that much of a problem for most users. The Streak also features a 1 GHz
