Following the X-Pro1, FujiFilm updates its X-series with the new X-E1 interchangeable lens digital camera.With a compact, travel friendly size that is 30% smaller than the X-Pro1, the new X-E1 uses elegant and premium components and its top and front covers made from die-cast magnesium for a solid, yet functional design. The rubber grip also provides additional stability. The camera uses the same 16.3 Megapixel APS-C X-Trans CMOs sensor and the same X-Mount for use with Fujinon XF lenses.

Pentax announced its new K-01 interchangeable lens camera (mirrorless camera) designed by Marc Nerson who are known for designing wide range of objects from furniture and household products to bicycles, cars, aircraft and yachts. The mirrorless design K-01 is compatible with ENTAX K-mount lenses.

FujiFilm brings a new compact, stylish digital camera to the CES 2012, the FinePix Z1000EXR (also known as Z1010EXR) with a “super-stylish” exterior, which is the successor to the FinePix Z900EXR. The new camera sports a 16 Megapixel EXR CMOS image sensor, which has been redesigned to priorities light sensitivity with a 30% reduction in digital noise over its predecessor, ensuring smoother tones in both highlight and shadow areas at higher ISO settings.
