Canon introduces a new digital SLR camera, the EOS 5D Mark III, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the EOS system. The new model sits between the 5D Mark II and the top model EOS 1D X. Pentax is going to release the Limited Edition Silver K-5 digital SLR camera. The Silver camera will be available in the US in limited quantities featuring an exclusive design with an original exterior color scheme and an exclusively designed grip that is thicker than the standard K-5 model.

Pentax announced the new K-5 digital SLR camera for “advanced amateur photographers”. As the successor to the K-7, the new K-5 gets a CMOS image sensor with a higer 16.3 Megapixel resolution.
