Images of Samsung’s latest 8.9-inch tablet along with a revamped 10.1-inch model have just hit the net along with detailed spec sheet. IT seems like Samsung has taken on the thinness challenge thrown down by Apple pretty seriously and is offering two tablets that are thinner than Apple iPad 2. Samsung is so smitten about shedding weight that they are offering both the 8.9-inch and the 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab models at just 0.33mm thickness.
We all remember that iPad 2 was 0.34mm in thickness and that means Samsung has just got on a level playing field in this department with

The Apple iPad 2 Launch Event yesterday was the center of everything in tech world for a few hours and we are still feeling the reverberations. There are different takes already on the iPad 2, but what seems more or less certain is that the iPad 2 will be as successful, if not more, than first-gen iPad. Those who have tried it Hands-On vouch for the new ‘magical speed’. (If we can borrow that term from Jobs for a while) Here are 8 reasons why we think Apple iPad 2 will be insanely successful…

Seems like we have our first substantial leak in case of Apple iPad 2 and it has come just hours before the launch event kicks off. Amazon Germany has just put the specs, feature list and the price of the Apple iPad 2 on its page and was soon to retract the page. But the word is already out and the wonderful part of it is that it has a release date attached as well !
According to the Amazon.de site, this is what Apple iPad 2 will come out with:
• 9.7-inch screen • 1.2GHz CPU that’s is hopefully Dual-Core • Thunderbolt I/O port • Camera (should be Dual-Camera) •

We pointed out right after our coverage of the Mobile World Congress 2011 that the Samsung Galaxy S II would be priced around £549.99 in the UK. That seems to be more or less close to the price tag revealed by Amazon Germany today. Amazon Germany has put up the Galaxy S II for pre-order for €599 and that roughly converts to $830.
Of course, conversions are not to be taken literally as earlier UK price indicated that it would be around $880. But this just gives us an indication of the contract-free price of the Galaxy S II in the US. Expect to get considerable on-contract

The MacBook Pro 2011 line-up has been in the spotlight for the past couple of weeks and Apple made the official announcement earlier that they would indeed launch them on February 24th, to celebrate the birthday of Steve Jobs. Now as nice a touch as that is we are obviously more bothered about what the new MacBook Pro line-up looks like and what they offer. Well, here is the very first look at the specs, features and a photo of it (well, partly).
Thanks to the guys at Macrumors, we have an early view of the 13-inch MacBook Pro even before its release tomorrow. This is

Remember all the talk about the White iPhone 4 yesterday and how the report talked about the idea of Apple holding back the iPhone 5 a bit (both the black and the white versions) just to give enough sales window for the white iPhone 4? That might not exactly be the reason for the delay of the iPhone 5. But reports are floating around that Apple might push back its annual release schedule and actually launch the iPhone 5 in September 2011.
The reports that suggest this delay are in no way concrete and Apple could actually bring out the iPad 2 in March (March 2nd is the date

Remember all the confusion about the HTC Thunderbolt 4G in regards to both its price tag and its release date? Well, as of now the launch day is still anyone’s guess and Verizon is confirming nothing to customers. People who might have pre-ordered the HTC Thunderbolt are already having second thoughts. But we now have the price of the Thunderbolt confirmed and it is on the expensive side of things.
Remember how Best Buy’s $249.99 Price Tag hit all across the net? Seems like guys there cannot even print price tags properly! That or something has changed in the past couple of

New PS3 SKU that is aimed at taking the hackers out of the game- That is what Sony is currently planning on getting done. But instead of solving the existing problem, this only sees many new ones crop up. The most important one being, what happens to all the existing PS3s? You know, those in our homes and the ones that are in stores and in stock. Does Sony look to recall the ones in stores? Will they update them in some way?
The news stems from reports that Sony is pretty pissed with the latest battle with hackers and wants to put in a new root key to ensure that all the

If you have been waiting for this since long, then we can finally confirm it to you (Officially) that the Motorola Xoom will be out in Best Buy this Thursday (Feb 24th) and it will be available with a price tag of $800. This obviously no big news for those of us who have been keeping a track of the Xoom release date over the leaks side of things. This will be not the only-WiFi model, which is slated to be out a bit later on Verizon Wireless.
Even if you are going to buy the WiFi-only version of the Xoom, you will still have to activate data with Verizon for the first month, at

It does seem a bit of a glaring gap when you observe the fact that Sony is competing so hard in the mobile arena with latest cutting-edge gadgets like the Xperia Play, but somehow has no tablet yet in the market. Nothing to compete with the likes of Apple iPad, Motorola Xoom, LG G-Slate and the Samsung Galaxy Tab series. But latest rumors indicate point to a Sony Tablet in the works and how the tablet landscape could change by the end of 2011.
The tablet that Sony is currently working so hard on is codenamed the “S1” (According to Engadget) and Sony is reportedly working
