FujiFilm, other than the Z800EXR, adds the stylish and colorful FinePix Z80 to the Z-series. FujiFilm’s new Z80 (aka Z81 is some markets) is a 14.2 Megapixel camera with a 5x Fujinon optical zoom lens, 6.8x digital zoom, and 2.7-inch LCD display. FujiFilm has given up its own xD picture card and goes for SD/SDHC memory cards.

The FinePix Z80 features ISO up to 1600, Digital Image Stabilization, SR Auto mode, Face Detection, Intelligent Shooting Modes, Intelligent Flash and Motion Panorama. The camera record 1280×720 HD video at 30fps.

FujiFilm launches a new ultra compact digital camera, the FinePix JX280. The camera is encased in a high-grade metal body that protect it from bumps and scrape. The JX280 is a 14 Megapixel camera with a Fujinon 5x optical zoom lens and a 2.7-inch LCD display.

FujiFilm introduces a new stylish Z-series digital camera, the FinePix Z800EXR (aka Z808EXR) with new EXR sensor,  Hybrid High Speed Auto Focus and a 3.5-inch touchscreen. The Z800EXR, successor to the Z700EXR, is equipped with a 12 Megapixel Super CCD EXR sensor that incorporates “Phase Detection pixel built-in CCD” to realize Hybrid High Speed Auto Focus, a Fujinon 5x optical zoom lens and a touchscreen for touch-based operation.

FujiFilm introduces a new S-series long zoom digital camera, the Finepix S2800HD with a Fujinon 28mm Wide-Angle 18x optical zoom lens. This new long-zoom FinePix comes with an electronic viewfinder and a 3-inch LCD display. It records 720p HD video and provides mini HDMI port.

Fujifilm are ready to release five new cameras in their FinePix line, which will include the F300EXR with its 12 megapixel sensor and 15x optical zoom capabilities. Another new camera in the line is the Z800EXR, which despite lacking long-range zooming capabilities, features a very nice touchscreen display with a high resolution. Touted as the world’s smallest 18X optical zoom camera (we know that some would say the quality of a camera is given by its size and grip), the FinePix S2800HD boasts an impressive 28mm-504mm high precision lens that vouches to grab the best snapshots even if your subject is far-far away.

FujiFilm is going to release a new long zoom camera, the FinePix S2500HD with 18X optical zoom and 28mm wide angle. The camera supports 1280×720p HD video recording and features dual image stabilization and face detection. It has a 3-inch large LCD display. No words yet on availability and pricing.

FujiFilm is also preparing its S1730 and S1600 that have 15x optical zoom, and the JX530 with 5x zoom.

Update: The 18x zoom camera is now official and is called S2550HD.

FujiFilm FinePix Z700EXR
