Nokia just like all the other cell phone manufacturers has lost the Smartphone war to Apple and the way to claw back into competition is to design some chic models that can do a lot more than the present day options.

It seems Nokia is trying hard and an evidence of the fact is the latest patent application titled-User, Interface Device and Method for a Physically Flexible Device. Nokia is wanting to develop flexible displays since 2008 and with this latest application, the intent is to develop handsets which could use flexibility for

CES 2010 as always was a mega event but for some reason Panasonic chose not to unveil its latest lineage of G2 HDTV’s at the event. Talking specifically about the G2 series, all the models

It would be great to use your iPhone as a universal remote, wouldn’t it? Sure it would! The only problem is, it doesn’t really work without a clunky IR transmitter attached to it. On the other hand, your iPhone can talk to other stuff through Bluetooth… It’s just too bad that your AV equipment can’t deal with that. You see where this is going, right?

The folks at Audiovox have come up with a system called Zentral, which is just a box plus a universal remote iPhone app. All the box itself really is, is a Bluetooth

The folks at Parrot have released a new toy RC toy called the AR.Drone, a “quadricopter” that can be controlled and viewed with an iPhone or iPod touch through a WiFi connection. The AR.DRONE works like a remote control helicopter with four separate helicopter blades to maneuver the device, but that is definitely not what makes this copter cool.

What really sets this guy apart from the others is that you can control it with your iPhone or iPod touch using the built-in accelerometers which will sense which way you tip the phone and

This new revolutionary Airnergy Harvesting Battery Charger literally sucks the power it requires out of thin air. It takes a Wifi signal and converts it into a DC power which can then used to power up your devices.

The recharge time depends on the proximity to a Wifi signal. A demonstartion at CES recharged a Blackberry from 30% to full capacity in just 905 by havesting the power from a Wifi signal. Check out the Video after the jump.

The idea is to reduce the size of the technology to fit in an OEM

At CES 2010 in Las Vegas Panasonic have just unveiled its new HD 3D Camcorder which is a worlds first. The innovative 3d camcorder automatically recalibrates the convergence point which needs to be done manually on conventional 3D equipment using a separate PC or external video processor.

The convergence point is the point at which the left and right cameras’ optical axes converge to produce 3D images. To take natural-looking 3D video, the convergence

Skype is the future of video chats is a long established fact but things should never be taken for granted even if you are the best in business. Skype tends to follow this mantra and that is the reason why the service has been so successful.

The latest feather in Skype’s cap is the collaboration with LG and Panasonic that will see Skype as a built-in feature in the internet laden TV sets. All this means that if you possess a Panasonic or an LG HDTV, Skype could very well be a part of your living room and not just the

This thing is, seriously, the highlight of CES for me (so far) this year. 3D TVs and eBook readers are fine, but there’s nothing amazing about them.

The Airnergy Charger is amazing.

This little box has, inside it, some kind of circuitry that harvests WiFi energy out of the air and converts it into electricity. This has been done before, but the Airnergy is able to harvest electricity with a high enough efficiency to make it practically useful: on the CES floor, they were able to charge a BlackBerry from 30% to full in about 90
