JVC introduces at the CES 2011 the GS-TD1, the world’s first consumer camcorder to offer 3D recording in Full HD. Sony introduced at the CES 2011 the Handycam HDR-TD10, the world’s first Double Full HD 3D consumer camcorder. The HDR-TD10 features an integrated dual lens system, which includes two of each key component – double Sony G Lenses, double Exmor R back-illuminated CMOS image sensors, and double BIONZ image processors to record 1920×1080 Full HD 60p/24p video. Panasonic officially unveils the HDC-SDT750, the world’s first 3D consumer-grade camcorder, which was leaked few days before. The SDT750 comes with a 3D conversion lens that enables the camcorder to shoot true-to-life 3D video content.
