Samsung Germany introduces two new business LCD monitors, the 22-inch SyncMaster 2243DW and 24-inch SyncMaster 2443DW. Both models have DisplayPort, in addition to DVI-D and D-sub. The SyncMaster 2243DW features 1680×1050 resolution, 50,000:1 contrast ratio, 250cd/m2 brightness while the larger 2443DW offers 1920×1200 Full HD resolution, 70.000:1 contrast and 300cd/m2 brightness. NEC is going to release in the US market the MultiSync EX231W ultra slim LED-backlit LCD desktop monitor. The EX231W has an ultra slim bezel of 14.6mm width) and is ultra light weight at 9.3 lbs. It features 1920×1080 Full HD resolution, 250cd/m2 brightness, 25,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. The MultiSync EX231W offers USB pass-through on the top of the monitor, which allows quick connecting of a webcam or simple flash drive access.
