The most recent post on Notion Ink official blog says that the ‘next round of orders have started’ for Adams and that ‘emails are being sent right now’. That is indeed something to party, right? A lot of order-invite mails are on their way to the future owners of Adam. Though the list is big, they are gradually carrying it out.
Apart from the news that the next round of ordering is kicking off, the post from Notion Ink CEO tells us some interesting points about the Adams tab. One among them is that Adam which currently sports Android 2.2 with borrowed components from

We just reported about a leak that has brought out the launch dates of some of the upcoming devices on T-Mobile. Now, a new leak suggests that the carrier has plans to lower the cost of the Samsung Galaxy Tab on its network.
As you might remember, T-Mobile had dropped the tablet’s price to $350 on contract back in December. That price cut had also led Sprint to come out with its own price drop.
Now, Tmonews has got hold of an internal document from the carrier. The leaked document says that the 7-inch tablet’s cost will be dropped to $250 (after a $50 mail-in rebate) from

Those among you who have been waiting for an Android 2.3 Honeycomb update on your Samsung Galaxy S and the Galaxy Tab has something to cheer. Though unconfirmed, a rumor doing the rounds suggests that the two devices are likely to get the update by the end of the current quarter.
The rumor trickles down from an Amsterdam-based website called SamFirmware and they have tweeted this piece of info. A visit to their Twitter account will open before you this: “Samsung still plans Android 2.3 for Galaxy Tab and Galaxy S release allround end Q1 begin Q2.” Believe it or not, this

The Samsung Galaxy Tab has had a successful run, and now comes the successor. Leaked info suggests that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 is in the works. Though the tech world had been anticipating a successor to the popular tablet, nobody would have thought details would emerge so soon. A leak being a leak, the specs that have been detailed could be speculative too.
A video (posted below) has surfaced, hinting at what all the Galaxy Tab would come with. What we like most is the inclusion of a 3D display in the specs list. Apart from this, the rumored features include a whole lot of

This could come as exciting news for those who have been eying the Samsung Galaxy Tab, but fell short of the required dollars. Carrier Sprint, which had a couple of months ago launched the Samsung tablet with much fanfare, is now gearing up for a snip in pricing of the device. The info comes courtesy of a leak, but we have reasons to believe that Samsung’s Android device could see a fairly good drop in price.
The leak makes us wonder why Sprint is going in for a price reduction, even as the Samsung Galaxy Tab is the only device it has outed since last November.

Motorola’s Xoom tablet, as you know, has succeeded big time in charming the CES 2011. Close on the heels of the announcement of the device, the Motorola tablet has now been made available on pre-order at Handtec.
Handtec has listed the Motorola Xoom for £659.99 (or £549.99 minus VAT). The pricing factor speaks a lot, considering that the device has been attached with a tag akin to the original price of the Samsung Galaxy Tab. That could well mean that the Xoom fits well in the price slot created by the Verizon Galaxy Tab.
If you would remember, the Motorola Xoom had been

We have seen a lot of tablet announcements and demonstrations at the CES. But now, one of the oldest tablets in the market, the Samsung Galaxy Tab is in the headlines. The new version of the device will be introduced with some hardware boosts and updates.
It is known that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4G will be featuring a 1.2GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird processor instead of the 1GHz processor that we can find on the existing Galaxy Tabs.

Samsung has been busy taking on Apple these days. After releasing a real contender for the MacBook Air — the 9 Series laptop models — they’re now officially announcing the Galaxy Tab WiFi-only version. It’s the same amazing Android tablet that has managed to get people excited last year when it was launched, except for the fact that the only connectivity you’re getting is via WiFi.
When it will hit stores in the US this first quarter of 2011, the Galaxy Tab WiFi will come bundled with Android 2.2 as expected. Regarding price, the official press release makes no
