Samsung had confirmed the existence of an upcoming tablet device called the Samsung Galaxy Tab. It is supposed to be coming out sometime later this year. There have also been rumors of a possible debut for the tablet device at the IFA show at Berlin next month. LG Electronics has confirmed that it will release a tablet PC running on Google’s Android OS, in the fourth quarter of 2010. The company has also said that an Android 2.2 update for its Optimus Z smartphone will be released at the same time.
