Crumbs! The Motorola (NYSE: MOT) Milestone (or Motorola Droid as it is known in the US) hasn’t been out that long, showing off its Android goodness, and already it’s getting a substantial price-drop! An alerting fact about T-Mobile surfaced last week, revealing that if you wanted to get a Nexus One, you’d better be a new customer and not an existing one – otherwise, you’re not eligible for a discount. While it’s reasonable to expect the problem to be solved soon enough, there’s still something you can do to get the Nexus One for $180 if you’re already a T-Mobile customer. The workaround only applies to non-contract customers though, so there’re still limitations. You basically need to add a new line through Google’s checkout

Intel’s Arrandale and Clarkdale finally got proper benchmarks and reviews. Intel’s 32nm flagship chips are said to be the next hit on the processor market, but how well do they behave in reality? The Core i5 Mobile and Core i3 Mobile processors for netbooks, based on the Arrandale architecture, as well as the Clarkdale-based Core i5 661 for desktop computers, have been put through extensive benchmarks to determine their capabilities.Apparently, the processors live up to Intel’s promises, down to the last word. Clarkdale turned out to be the fastest dual core

Users of Amazon’s Kindle DX have expressed some disappointment with the lakc of global wireless capabilities in the device – unlike the 6″ version of the device, which has full global roaming support. However, an interesting link showed up on Amazon recently – in the top-right corner, there’s a text that says “Kindle DX Now with Global Wireless”.The device doesn’t have that support yet, and the link doesn’t reveal anything as it’s dead. However, Amazon did promise us global roaming capabilities for the Kindle DX, to

AT&T seem to have secured a deal with LG to distribute their own version of the LG Arena. Some pictures showing the device bearing AT&T’s logo were leaked onto the Internet just now, and while there hasn’t yet been an official statement by AT&T nor LG, we consider this valid enough proof – unless the photos have been tampered with, of course, but at this point, this is highly unlikely. No details on specifications have been given either, but the phone will most probably be a revised Arena KM900 and bear the same characteristics, or at least very

| While on stage with Walter Mossberg, Andy Rubin, VP of Engineering at Google, has brought up the possibility of an enterprise phone, which might bear similarities to the Nexus One. The Nexus One is apparently the first in a series, so the enterprise version might have a physical keyboard, and a larger battery. When asked about the possibility of a smaller phone, Rubin did give a half-nod, but that’s as much as anybody got. It certainly seems to indicate that the Nexus One won’t be the only phone that Google will be offering

I’m not quite sure how they do it, but Eye-Fi manages to keep on cramming feature after useful into their wireless memory cards. This time around, they’re introducing a new tier of card (above Pro), the Pro X2. It costs $150, but at least read about what it does before you scoff at the price… The X2 is an 8 gig SDHC card with a built-in 802.11n antenna. N! N means faster uploads at greater distances, so that’s definitely good. And more storage is good too. But the most useful feature of the X2 is the option to have the card delete pictures after it

Professional gamers know: optimizing control inputs means maximizing damage, and maximizing damage is the most important thing that there is in life. The Peregrine gaming glove contains an array of touch sensors on the thumb, fingers, and palm, and lets you control your game with simple touches instead of using the keyboard. The point? It’s faster, more intuitive, and more convenient, and pro gamers say (or at least this one told us) that it makes a huge difference:The glove is attached to your computer by a break-away cable, and as far as your computer is concerned, the
