Verizon Motorola DROID PRO Now Available

Verizon Wireless releases the Motorola DROID PRO Android smartphone optimized for business use. The bar-type phone comes with built-in QWERTY keyboard. Designed for business users, the DROID PRO is global-ready supporting both GSM/WCDMA and CDMA EVDO networks. The DROID PRO runs Android 2.2. It has a 3.1-inch 320×480 touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash, WiFi, GPS/A-GPS and WiFi. It is powered by 1GHz processor with 512MB RAM and 2GB ROM. Motorola DROID PRO isavailable for $179.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement.

Verizon Motorola DROID 2 GLOBAL Android Smartphone with 1.2GHz CPU

Motorola officially announced its DROID 2 GLOBAL Android smartphone with support for CDMA 800/1900, CDMA EV-DO Rev. A 800/1900 , WCDMA 850/1900/2100, and quad-band GSM 850/900/1800/1900 networks. HTC CDMA/GSM Dual-mode Android Phone gets QWERTY and 1.2GHz CPU

HTC is preparing a new QWERTY Android smartphone for Verizon Wireless and here are few leaked photos. As you can see, the phone has a side-slide QWERTY keyboard and is about the size of HTC EVO 4G. It is said that the phone supports both CDMA and GSM networks and is powered by a 1.2GHz processor.
