Tip off from component makers have spurred DigiTimes to report that at least four new MacBook Pro models will arrive during the first half of next year.
If you remember, the last upgrade we saw in the Macbook Pro was in April 2010. So it is indeed time for an upgrade.

If you are an Apple loving geek who has been patiently saving your pennies to get your hands on one of the 27-inch iMacs, we have some bad news. Well some more bad news anyway, you already know about the screen woes for the big beast right?
Anyway, apparently the shipping delay for the largest of the iMac computers has grown for the week lead time before to three weeks. Exactly why the delay has grown so significantly is unknown, but we can guess.
I am betting the screen woes have delayed shipments until the issue can be fixed. Either that or Apple is out of stock and is

I neither hate nor love Apple, but the company tends to have those that are at each extreme of the love hate relationship. I have an iPhone I really like, but I am not a fan of Mac computers. If you are a Mac fan and have wished for more screen sizes in the iMac line, your wish may be coming true.
A rumor floating around has Quanta building a new 22-inch iMac computer for Apple that is set to hit this year. There are no hard details on the rumor, but the screen size would fit in between the two existing models.
The part that makes me wonder is that I can’t see the trouble of

The Commercial Times newspaper in Taiwan started a new rumor today, according to which Apple are working on a new iMac – a 22-inch touchscreen one, to be precise. The new model will likely branch off into its own niche and won’t be related to the current 21.5″ and 27″ models that Apple are offering right now.
Manufacturing of the computers will be done by Quanta, while the touch overlays used in the screens will be developed by Sintek Photronic. We don’t have a lot of other information about the alleged system, but let’s keep in mind that

What would you do if you were lucky enough to own Apple’s new iMac? Would you stare at it in awe, hug it, turn it on, or start customizing it? Well, if you’re anything like the folks over at iFixit, you’ll rip it apart just to see what’s inside and how everything works. While we pity the poor iMac that was taken apart, we’re fairly happy that it was taken apart for the benefit of us Internet folks, so if you need instructions to take apart your iMac in the future, the information is there.
