A few more details of the upcoming Asus Eee PC have been revealed. Different versions of the story are doing the rounds, even as the only info that is confirmed happens to be that the device that is set to arrive would sport Intel’s latest dual-core, mobile Atom N550 processor.
We hear about a 1015PEM variant of the Eee PC which will be powered by the new 1.5GHz N550 CPU. The laptop will be capable of sporting up to 2GB of DDR3 RAM.
The device is expected to arrive sporting a price tag of €349, which is equal to $440 in the North American market.

Eurocom has introduced the Panther 2.0 gaming notebook and it comes jam-packed with features. Panther, which weighs less than 12lbs, sports a 17.3 inch Full HD LED backlit display having a resolution of 1920×1080 and has a full-size keyboard. Lenovo has entered the 3D world with their new IdeaPad Y560d 3D notebook, which has now gone on sale through the company’s online store. The new notebook uses the TriDef 3D system and is priced starting at $1399, depending on the various options you hook it up with. The TriDef system consists of the display, the glasses, and the software. The latter is of particular interest as Lenovo says the “TriDef Media Player” and “TriDef Photo Transformer” software will be able to convert and display conventional 2D video or photos as full viewable 3D

MSI had unveiled its prototype WindPad 100 tablet device at the Computex show earlier this year. The device ran on Windows 7 OS and was powered by an Intel Atom Z530 1.66 GHz processor. From what we see now, the WindPad has advanced past the prototype stage and reached design maturity. MSI has put out a number of press shots of the tablet, picturing it with a dock in some.

Samsung has announced that it will release its range of Q-series laptops by the end of July in different markets including the UK. The Q-series range comprises of the Q530, Q430 and Q330 laptops.
The Q530 is the high-end laptop in the range with a screen size of 15.3 inches with LED backlight and an aspect ratio of 16:9. Consumers can choose between the Core i5 and Core i3 processors from Intel as part of the Q530’s CPU and the GeForce GT330M DDR3 graphics processor will also be present in the notebook. The laptop will also offer connectivity through Bluetooth 3.0 and WiFi.

If you’re in the market for a new netbook but expect a bit more from your machine, the new Acer Aspire One D255 is probably what you’re looking for — as we’re hearing that’s the first Acer netbook to feature the new Atom N550 dual-core processor that clocks at 1.5GHz and has 512KB L2 cache.

Asus has announced the new all-in-one PC series, christened the ET2400 series. A total of seven models are included in the PC family and all the models are offering special features. Each model will be boasting a 23.6-inch Full HD display providing a resolution of 1920 x 1080. The series combine the Super Hybrid Engine performance-boost technology with the SonicMaster audio solution.
The system performance is enhanced by up to 15 percent with the combined effect of the Super Hybrid Engine and the latest Intel processors.

Just yesterday Intel announced that they’re buying Internet security expert and antivirus developer McAfee, and of course this sparked a wide range of speculations about what Intel could be planning to do with their new property. Apple has been rumored to soon begin refreshing its iMac line of computers as resellers of the device have reported that the company has asked them to keep the inventory lean. The newer iMac models have also been rumored to contain Core i3, i5 and i7 processors from Intel instead of the Core 2 Duo chips.
